Is Capital Auto Driving School a ministry-approved course provider?

Can I start the Beginner Driver Education (BDE) course without my G1 license?
You can participate in in-class sessions without your G1 license. However, the in-vehicle driving portion requires a G1 license.
Will completing your course qualify for an insurance discount?
Yes, completing our approved BDE course may qualify you for a discount. Verify this with your insurance provider using your Driver’s License History (DLH) from Service Ontario.
How much of a discount will I get on my insurance after completing the BDE course?
Your Driver's Licence History (DLH) shows you completed our beginner driver education course and is recognized by most insurance companies. Discounts depend on factors like your location, vehicle, age, and other personal details.
What's the timeframe to complete the course?
The MTO allows one year from the first day of class to finish the course, after which access to online certification ends.

Can I use my vehicle for the lessons?
Novice drivers must use the instructor’s vehicle for training because it’s equipped with a dual-brake system for safety.
